Might mess around and watch Extraction 2. I keep seeing clips that make it look cool. I assume I don't need to see the first one.

For a second I thought you were watching The Last Duel.
That would be best barber performance of the year.

Ha, this is really kinda fun. 27 minutes before any action. You can just skip all that boring stuff. The action is well done once it starts.

I never understood his tastes, except maybe his preference for what I would call "visual noise".

First one is pretty competent, but maybe a little too serious and straightforward for me. Nothing as crazy as the prison riot/train scene of the second one.

This is the Avengers: Endgame guy? I like this director. I like the camera work. It's all intentional, but not overly choreographed or showy. Accentuates the action without looking like a theme park ride. Also, so glad the age of shaky cam is behind us.

Sing Street

«A boy growing up in Dublin during the 1980s escapes his strained family life by starting a band to impress the mysterious girl he likes.»

Watching this now. Has a good start.

Final unseen movie from 2016 for now. Only got La La Land amd Moonlight left after this. Previously seen them one time each when they were new.

Excellent coming of age / starting a band movie. Lots of strong performances, and really solid writing. One of the better 2016 movies.
