Kong: Skull Island
Hated it the first time I saw it (25th of November 2017), so just hoping for a better experience. Think that’s likely.
First 2017 movie, as I will watch a lot of movies from 2017 over the next two months.

It’s better than I gave it credit for. Not a very good movie, but it is certainly well made, with plenty of action.

Yes, I enjoyed it. It had a better pace than I was anticipating.Anders wrote:Look forward to seeing it. Was it good?Monkey_Driven wrote:The Fabelmans

The Big Short. It's pretty good, but I'd like it more without the quirky exposition, and Michael Scott doesn't quite work.

Watched Murder On The Orient Express. Think Kenneth Branagh is awful as Poirot. Better as s director of Poirot. Movie was just ok, too overly dramatic, misplaced action.

I enjoyed Sorcerer. Very tense and a great score.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Spider-Man: Homecoming
Third timr seeing this. It’s a bit overrated, but it’s good for light entertainment.

It’s certainly a lot better than that RT rating. In primary school we all loved it when it came out.tree_ wrote:31% on rotten fruit. Is it really good?

I know it’s closing in on 100 years old, but Sunrise (1927) is beautiful. What an achievement in filmmaking.
