Correct. Joel Mchale being projected onto who might as well be random person is just Carmy feeling like a failure because that’s all he ever heard from that cheftragabigzanda wrote:Ok I’m with you on #2.
#1 I’m less sure on, because earlier in the episode they show that guy then Carmy immediately starts having a fit about a dish not walking to a table. But you’re saying he was never there, and Carmy was projecting his presence from the beginning of the night?

That actor being the guy in the insurance commercial who’s “just like his parents” but being able to make me feel something like he did we Donna and Sugar right after makes me rethink his abilityChris_H_2 wrote:By the way, Sugar’s husband was the finale’s MVP.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

An amazing season of one of tv’s best series just wrapped up and all wease can talk about is a 30-year song from a band that’s 25 years past it’s peak.wease wrote:No. Animal was.Chris_H_2 wrote:By the way, Sugar’s husband was the finale’s MVP.

It’s not the song. It’s how it was used.Chris_H_2 wrote:An amazing season of one of tv’s best series just wrapped up and all wease can talk about is a 30-year song from a band that’s 25 years past it’s peak.wease wrote:No. Animal was.Chris_H_2 wrote:By the way, Sugar’s husband was the finale’s MVP.
Also, that’s not the only thing I’ve talked about from the finale.

I’m going to do a series rewatch on this soon. Maybe even before Ted Lasso.

It bothers me that all of the playlists for this season on Spotify have the A Ghost is Born version of Handshake Drugs instead of the live Kicking Television version [said with a nerd lisp]Mecca wrote:Not enough Wilco for you?Chris_H_2 wrote:

Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
Just finished S2.
I liked it a lot, and ep 6 and and 7 being the main ones....the finale was weird tough. I loved what they did with Richie and Syd, and liked it enough that Carm is out for most of the night...but the way Claire hears him was out of a really bad soap opera. Mainly everything with Claire felt kinda shoehorned to me all season. Maybe because i dont really feel the two actors have a strong connection or chemistry, like he has with Syd for example ( and i dont want carm and syd to hook up at all, i just point about how real that relation feels).
Animal was wild dude, what a song really, made me up a PJ vinyl just when series ended.

I’d just like to state for the record I loved the usage of Animal, but my desire to be snarky comes firstepilogue wrote:My manwease wrote:It’s not the song.
