Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
the only thing missing on this show is a THE NATIONAL song
Sometimes I wanna drive around and find you
And act like it's a random thing
And act like it's a random thing

This show used some of the most obvious musical cues of all time but even they were like, “The National is too on the nose.”

Halfway thru season 2. 25 Miles to Go! What a jam! Loved it at the end of Adventures in Babysitting; love it still.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
Thru 7.
6 was like Kendrick Lamar’s latest album. I recognize it’s an incredible achievement and the talent is otherworldly, but what a fucking crucible to get though. I was so tense that I didn’t enjoy it at all.
7, on the other hand, was such a joy. And look - Love Song is one of the greatest songs ever written. If it doesn’t make you happy, you’re in a bad way.

Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
Basically hour-long shows are dramas, half hours are comedies. There might be a few exceptions, but that is pretty standard.
