They are similar kind of like when they said let's make an uglier Red Mosquito and out came 1/2 Full.

When people compare this to Tremor Christ they're just referring to the muffled 30-second soundcheck clip we all heard a decade ago.

Re: Song of the Moment: Infallible
the worst thing about this song is that it turns from this dark ominous omen-pop "keep on locking your doors" verse, to this weirdly shoehorned, unearned, victoriously preachy chorus about "the hearts and minds of men" that was so blatantly rewritten to replace something that was probably cool originally
the worst thing about it is what it is so obviously refusing to be

Re: Song of the Moment: Infallible
Yellow Moon is just an obviously overproduced folky song; it has no actual musical decisions or directions that I hate
my least favourite PJ songs are ones that had basically decent ideas behind them, until someone shit on it from a great height

unfortunately Lightning Bolt has a lot of these songs, like Pearl Jam suddenly sunk into the uncanny valley

Re: Song of the Moment: Infallible
I don't necessarily disagree with Ms Harmless. Those descriptions are fair enough. However, I personally am quite moved by Yellow Moon and Infallible. Yellow Moon especially. For me the song is all about vibes. Not too terribly different from In The Moonlight, that way. But I do wish it wasn't so poorly produced, for sure.
