The actual napoleon did that.
They gave up shooting when they weren’t making much of a dent but also running low on shot.
This did not happen

Sure wish they would get the accents right when delivering this dumb as dirt exposition and Skeletor-depth character study dialog.

Why is Napoleon the only one with an American accent before there even were American accents? Should most of the accents at least be fucking French?

Having them speak English in a French accent would be worse. Comical, even. There's a long history of America movies about foreigners, full of Americans speaking American. Other countries do it, too. Chernobyl was full of people with posh English accents. Just roll with it

I assume this guy is in it somewhere. Whenever Hollywood needs a french guy, this guy is always there.

The answer in the question.
The empire is based on their empire. And they were evil bastards who did horrific shit to billions.
Some of them still are evil bastards.

Tell that to Daniel Day Lewis or Christian Bale. You people have lowered your standard for acting.Coach wrote:At the end of the day, you really can't change the sound of your voice.

But they need to be consistent. One character, the titular character no less, speaking in a different accent in which they’re all supposed to be from the same place is stupid. The Argonaut wrote:Having them speak English in a French accent would be worse.
