I can understand that. I have bern to bars ane night clubs with loud music, and while some seem to master talking there supremely, I think sometimes it can be really difficult. Ruins the night, if you are in a large group, without a chance of going somewhere else.

I’ve had this issue for years too. I actually got my hearing checked about five years ago and all was well; they just said that some people’s ears just aren’t as good at differentiating between immediate and background noise.

I'm somewhere in the middle as I need a good balance of both. That being said, I probably get more "energy" from solo or small group activities.

Waking up after a night where I've hung out and had fun with many of my nearest and dearest is really cool. I'm like buzzing. Wish I could get that from just hanging out alone but I cannot

Quarantine period of the pandemic was REALLY hard for me. Like I was deeply, deeply depressed for a while. My girlfriend was worried about me. I wonder if introverts just skated by that whole time period
