The sex scene is just unnecessary.

Wasn’t exactly setting the world alight if you follow me.

I think Nolan is punking everyone in exactly this context.

I’m sure his fans will write at length about how it’s a thematic counterpoint.

In nature male birds have extravagant colours and are all flashy, where as the famle birds are quite plain looking

Fine movie, but Florence Pugh’s nudity felt out of place. The narrative jumping around wasn’t hard to follow but did feel like it wasn’t working at times. Kinda just felt like Nolan is in his groove making this for better or worse. The score was on point.

Well that fell through quickly. After discussing plans with my wife, and then booking tickets for a mate and I to go see this my wife informed me that she'd just found out that her Marae is having a centennial in Northland that she really wants/needs to go to that same weekend, so I'm now on child watching duties. Tickets are being gifted to my mate and he'll have to find someone else to go with

i think the fact that they chose racial diversity for the dp scene was a breath of fresh air

i support diversity and inclusion

art is art and like why not tinker with history if it makes the story that much better

the history-buff critics need to get over themselves

and stop being racist

One question about this movie I’ve been wondering about is does it show actual penetration between the two actors sexual organs
