for the 3rd time in a couple months we saved another small bird today..small sparrow..they fly into the glass wall on the back patio...the dead to safe ratio is about 50/50 now...anyway, this little guy sat in my hands and shook off his injury and flew away after about 2 minutes

Fellow bird enjoyers, are you familiar with the kererū? It's a wonder they can even get airborne. These chonkers absolutely rule.

I had to kill some baby birds last year after their terminally stupid bird parents built their nest in my wife’s wreath on our front door, and now it seems I’m gonna have to kill whole families of finches that have made nests in our deck awning. This time maybe I’ll mount their tiny heads on toothpicks to warm away their dumbass bird friends

Because we cleared their nests out and they immediately came back and rebuilt them.
