It seemed like the franchise took awhile to really take off. Didn't part 3 kinda kill it off for awhile?

There were 6 years between II and III, and 5 years between III and Ghost Protocol. GP came out in 2011, but it is when it adopted a more consistent identity. Since the first three were so different i'm not sure it was thought of as much of a series though, in the traditional sense.

I used to be there kind of asshole who thought there was no point in even bothering to go to the movie theatre if you weren't going to see the previews.

From the premiere of the 2003 movie Intermission. Colin Farrell and Kerry Condon share one scene (I believe her only) and it's actually kind of hilarious in a post-Banshees world. Just thought you'd all enjoy this lovely image of three good and cool people
