But there are a LOT more middle and lower class that support him than there ever were of the mega-rich. He doesn’t need them to win. He just needs more votes from the rural areas than DeSantis.

He just needs to win millions of people over who voted against him last time.

I get that they’ll liquify their pensions and sell up to give him money, some of them. But there has to be a point where they realise surely?

Yup:

https://twitter.com/AGHamilton29/status ... 9793050624
And on the purely political question: I don't think ppl understand what a Trump v Biden general looks like. Trump will have 2-3 trials going on. All the coverage will be his cases 24/7. New revelations will come out daily and every R candidate will be asked to defend them. All negative. Biden's record won't even come up.

Biden will then drop a hundred mill in ads in key states reminding independents why they hate Trump and will build an extensive turnout operation to reinforce w the base. Trump will spend all his $ on personal legal fees so no turnout operation, no campaign pre-challenges, and almost no ads. Completely reliant on earned media.

Nothing you see now accounts for any of this.

Yeah we've talked about this before and agreed the Georgia case likely has the best teeth here. Agree that the Brag case is political. Documents case - I mean if he asked them to delete footage that's bad. And the election case seems serious but still hard to prove because you have to prove Trump knew he lost.

It’s interesting reading back on the last few pages and last few years pages here and seeing how hopeless you all are.

Nothings gonna happen.

So justice doesn’t matter and of course he’ll get away with it and nothing we can do.

That’s a grim state of affairs no matter what way you look at it.

You might be right. He might never truly have to face the consequences for all of it.
But surely you should be pressing to make sure he does.

There are likely thousands of lawyers and hundreds of feds working on 'getting' Trump. Activism won't change that.
