all three of the dudes are doctors. So I get to hear how they make $5 million a year while only working 2 days a week.doug rr wrote:between 18 holes and a couple drinks afterwards how many hours will be spent taking about ladies and work?

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
I looked at the scorecard and the number 1 hole is quite the monster of a par 5...when you're about to tee off dont think about hitting it out of boundsChris_H_2 wrote:i do not. maybe if they were worse at their jobs i could.doug rr wrote:do you represent any of them?Chris_H_2 wrote:all three of the dudes are doctors. Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
you might just want to start off with a 5 iron, accept a 7 and move on

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
#8 is also a monster although just a par 3..over 200 yards, uphill normally into a prevailing wind...post here when you finish it..if you play from the back its a tight shot through the trees on both sides...similar to the par 4 18th at at Augusta..1 missed swing away from turning a 3 into an 8

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
#15
another fun par 5..
This hole may prove to be a most rare specie for the field: a par 5 that isn't a guaranteed birdie. There are two ways to play it. Shorter hitters will play it as a true three-shotter, because the fairway turns sharply to the right about 275 yards from the green. Look for them to use a long iron or fairway wood off the tee, then hit a long iron to set up a wedge shot. The bigger hitters can reach in two - but only if they keep their tee shots down the left, and that's not easy to do as the fairway slope works against them. If they end up to the right, they'll have to hit a slice - not just a fade - around the crook of the curve to reach the green. Of course, they'd be better laying up....I hope you still have fuel in then flask..

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
if this is wager game against the doctors, you'll want to be careful with 18..it calls for a big draw to avoid that fairway bunker on the right..accept a 2 putt if not a 3 and go have a drink..break 100
