This takes a little bit of the shine off my trip to Detroit because we’ll be at MSU now regularly.
B1G is top heavy (UM, OSU, PSU, Wisky) and I don’t understand how a school like Indiana is any better football-wise than say Oregon State.
Next step is gonna be Cal & Stanford to the B1G which will basically mean they will have a West division that essentially the PAC.

i still think that they should go keep the original conference configurations for everything but football and perhaps men's basketball (let them have their own super conferences). that way oregon's women's diving team isn't flying to rutgers on a tuesday in january.

Completely agree.
I like the idea of a Premier League type setup with relegation and promotion to the Power 3/4. Just have have 16-20 teams in each mega conference with divisions organized by geography. The smaller schools go about their normal thing, but can be promoted if they win their championship.
