I'm one of those people. I mean, marketing went in pretty hard at the time of announcement:dad wrote:right.mkay0 wrote:I know people who bought this specifically because it would be at the VMP plant, so bummed for them. I don't know enough about vinyl to feel strongly about it.
Two months is ultimately not a big deal to me, but it sucks that they waited until essentially the original ship date to tell us. They didn't just learn about construction and permit delays on the building this week.
"The deluxe 25th-anniversary edition of Yield will be the inaugural pressing at Vinyl Me Please’s brand new audiophile-grade pressing plant, specially designed to produce the highest quality records."
Even now, reading that again made me drool.

Apparently Parting Ways was recorded for both No Code and Yield. Those and Of the Girl from the Yield sessions are what I’d ask for over pretty much anything else. Thin Air w/ Jack too.VinylGuy wrote:yeah, or some outtakes like Parting Ways with Jack...it was recorded during this session right?

Oh yeah, that came, like, 10 years late. At one point, my Amazon estimated ship date was 2080.VinylGuy wrote:did you got the book of evolution? i cant rememberB wrote:Companies are always sorry when they fuck up but they're never sorry enough to discount your product to make up for the inconvenience.dad wrote:Cam Schmam. I wish I was a famous band
And I would count my stash
I wish I was a Pearl Jam fan
So you could take my cash
I wish I was a pressing plant
And all the permits stood
I wish I had some news to give
I wouldn't if I could

Shipping information received from VMP instead of 10C for the 25th anniversary edition.
