Agreed. Prime Arnold delivered movies on a higher average quality than Stallone, but times truly have changed.VinylGuy wrote:Havent seen those. might watch KG someday.
But yeah, he is having a bad moment. Surprising to see Stallone doing much better.

yeah, Sly had the 80s and Arnold the 90s by a long shot. But even if Sly is still making shitty action movies, he is still doing A work.Anders wrote:Agreed. Arnold seems to be out of the loop completely.

Lots going on in this thread. My two thoughts:
Commando is the greatest Arnold movie ever
Terminator Salvation wasn't a bad "new" sequel, I wish they would have kept things in that direction instead of the Genisys stuff.

Man, I love Commando. The opening montage with him and his daughter is one of the greatest things ever put to film.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Lots going on in this thread. My two thoughts:

yeah, commando is cool.
And i agree Salvation was the right path. They killed the franchise with the other two.

Salvation would have been pretty high on my Arnold list, just no Arnold. Someone make a Christian Bale list.

Arnold probably edged him out in the 80s as well. However, in the 70s, Sly was the best of the two.VinylGuy wrote:yeah, Sly had the 80s and Arnold the 90s by a long shot. I should watch Salvation. I actually think T3 is almost a really good movie.
Recast John Connor, take out some of the stupid jokes and you're getting there.
I love the ending, very dark.

yeah T3 is a good sequel and the ending is actually very cool, it sets the franchise forward.
The last two are embarrassing.

I'm in the middle of a Christian Bale-a-thon right now, so maybe I'll watch it tonight.
