Re: X ( aka Twitter )
Hey, so when someone starts a thread and they type "(1/12)" or something like that, how do they know how many tweets their message is going to be?
Do they write the whole thing in Word and do a character count?
Do they write the whole thing in Word and do a character count?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: X ( aka Twitter )
As you are typing a tweet, you can click the + button underneath to add an additional tweet to a thread, so people who do that probably add the numbers at the end, once they know how many there will be.B wrote:Hey, so when someone starts a thread and they type "(1/12)" or something like that, how do they know how many tweets their message is going to be?

But you can't edit a tweet to include the final number, can you?Simple Torture wrote:As you are typing a tweet, you can click the + button underneath to add an additional tweet to a thread, so people who do that probably add the numbers at the end, once they know how many there will be.B wrote:Hey, so when someone starts a thread and they type "(1/12)" or something like that, how do they know how many tweets their message is going to be?

Yup, you don’t have to post until you’ve finished with all the tweets in a thread.B wrote:But you can't edit a tweet to include the final number, can you?Simple Torture wrote:As you are typing a tweet, you can click the + button underneath to add an additional tweet to a thread, so people who do that probably add the numbers at the end, once they know how many there will be.B wrote:Hey, so when someone starts a thread and they type "(1/12)" or something like that, how do they know how many tweets their message is going to be?
