I hope not.
Anyway, it's over now.
I got a coffee.
An hour or two left of work then I am heading home to relax.

Re: Talk about your day thread
So this weekend - went up north for my parents 60th wedding anniversary, was great being able to celebrate such a milestone with them and the family. They got cards from the Prime Minister, their local minister, the minister for seniors (Who knew that was even a thing) and the King and Queen's consort.
A week or two before we got there, my brother had moved out of thier house after having been there for just over a year, so I had to fix their chromecast and wireless printer as they had all stopped working after he forced them to change thier WiFi cause some of his devices wouldn't connect.
Took the girls for a walk along the beach and then got ice-cream. Having babysitters for the first time in probably close to a year - my wife and I were able to go out to the movies. All round a great trip
Ear was still playing up, so made an appointment to see the doctor when we got back. When we did get back - I went to give the cat a 'hello' head scratch and pulled away in a way that seemed odd to me, and then after a while I noticed that she seemed somewhat disoriented and was bumping into things etc. Saw her pupils were wildly dialated, so did the whole shine a light in them, and they didn't change. Spoke to my sister (a vet) about it, and given the cat's age she basically told me - this could be the end. So yesterday - took the cat to the vet, fully expecting that she wouldn't be coming home again, but she's back, blind and on meds that will hopefully sort out the vision thing.
Oh and the Dr told me that from here out the issue with my ear is a time thing, and not to expect it to get back to normal within days - think weeks

Re: Talk about your day thread
Today was my 12th anniversary at my job.
Drinking a beer right now, about to make tacos for dinner, home made blackberry pie later thanks to Mrs. Bam and the kids picking berries. I also picked a few.

Nice work, Bammer!
The longest tenure I had at a job was nine years. Felt like the place was family. Good for you, my friend.
P.S. There's still time to submit height and weight to The Weight Loss Thread for a FREE BMI calculation.
Also note: The Weight Loss Thread creator has recently RETURNED for more weight loss.

5’ 10.5”
16X lbs it varies I think. Never weigh myself.
I lose weight unintentionally.

Do you feel institutionalised like I do? I'm coming up to 13 years in my position in DecemberBammer wrote:Today was my 12th anniversary at my job.

You are basically at a 22.63. That's a sweet spot. You are tall and lean for an RMer. Very nice.Bammer wrote:5’ 10.5”

Re: Talk about your day thread
Now that Bammer (
) has submitted his height and weight for BMI calculation, I need Stip to get back to me about posting to the Poop Thread. Then, my journey is complete.
