Our company went to two-factor authentication a couple of years ago. No one can even log in to their workstation without it. Well, IT sends out an email this morning informing us the system(?) we use for this is down and you won’t be able to log into your workstation this morning. Now, if they can’t log into the workstation, they can’t check their email. If they can’t check their email…
this sounds like the IT dept at my wife's hospital, which is just one super incompetent dude who would've been fired several times over had he worked anywhere else. somehow they've kept him on, even after succumbing to two ransomware attacks within a few years.
is it possible that you and other end users have access to your email via your smartphone? while it isnt mandatory id say 95% of our company has outlook and slack installed on their work phones and can acce email and slack while mobile

my pet peeve is facial recognition. sure it works great for the end user, but if i have to work on your computer i am cutting off your face so can do my buisness

I was already in my computer before they were having the issue. I do have my email on my cell, but I’m in the vast minority on that.

At the end of the day, two-factor authentication is a necessary evil.

I have a good interview next week. What do I want to achieve in the future and why do I want to work for this company? Also, what impact have I made in the past and what inspires me? And how do I see my future?

If anyone could provide me the correct answers to these questions, I would be grateful

my 15 year old son makes $15 an hour riding around in one of those covered carts picking up golf balls on a driving range at the local golf course.

There is a hog in me . . . a snout and a belly . . . a machinery for eating and grunting . . . a machinery for sleeping satisfied in the sun—I got this too from the wilderness and the wilderness will not let it go.

There is a fish in me . . . I know I came from salt-blue water-gates . . . I scurried with shoals of herring . . . I blew waterspouts with porpoises . . . before land was . . . before the water went down . . . before Noah . . . before the first chapter of Genesis.

There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.

O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.
