I'm so tired of the "irrelevant pearl jam message board" comment made as if to denigrate its value. Does anybody even come here for Pearl Jam anymore? I think we all come here because of familiarity; it feels like it's ours, and we know each other and what to expect. It actually helps to make things more clear when you explain she's not a big huge celebrity. Like, if she were a big celebrity it wouldn't seem as odd, you know? I think I get it now. Like, why would you have this; why is it important to you? "I'm not even a big deal? Why do you think this is a big deal?" The personally significant part might come off as a little creepy if you don't explain it right. But if you're not friends after this then it wasn't meant to be anyway, and then you can light your building on fire.
