I think I've joined one fantasy football league in my life. It was about ten years ago with some coworkers. I wasn't even following football at the time, but they didn't have enough people so I joined. No money, just bragging rights. I think I picked last, and I never made any lineup changes.

The first season we played, we had a guy like dad in our league. He never changed his lineup. Our season had made it to the playoffs, we were all out at a bar watching games. We were cracking on him for never updating his lineup, and he said that the only computer he had access to was at work and they monitored his browsing history, so he didn’t want to risk it.

He had no idea there was a phone app.
