Babylon Berlin. 5 episodes in and it already seems better than Boardwalk Empire and definitely better than Peaky Blinders.

But I don't know how to do it

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Recently rewatched Freaks and Geeks with my kids. It was a magical bonding experience.

Finally finished Twin Peaks seasons 1 & 2 last night. I rather liked the second season finale. A lot of the series is a slog, though, let's be honest. Looking forward to the Fire Walk with Me movie and the Return series, actually. But might take a bit of a break before digging into the Return.

I liked Fire Walk with Me quite a bit, fwiw. Entirely different tone from the series, though. But it made me want to look at the Return, at least

Can't believe I slept on "Fleabag" for so long.
I'll be ready for a re-watch in a week or two.

Just watched You Can't Kill David Arquette. Most of it just made me sad, but by the end I had decided I quite liked it

Rewatching S1 of True Detective since we're now living about 35 minutes from the initial crime scene and it's really apparent on this viewing how much McConaughey (and to a lesser extent, Harrelson) is carrying a script that is just as convoluted as S2 and could easily be as purple as S3.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
TD season one was completely engrossing the first time I watched it and increasingly ridiculous every subsequent time I caught an episode
