There’s plenty of cheesy in this.
Another sacred token which is a bit of a map leading to the only person we need to resolve the story.

Where have we seen that before?

Cheesy but in the wrong way.

I did like the beginning when Baylen was tearing through the ship striking dudes down with is saber and the force. Very Vader-esque.

My one minor complaint is, I swear they made it so you could actually understand what Chopper was saying. Like I heard words in there. It wasn't like that in Rebels.

Not like Boba Fett or last season of Mando. Dumb jokes about Jawas being hairy, Jack Black and Lizzo appearing in an episode, etc. were all distracting from the shows. Also better acting in this. Pedro basically phoned in the voiceover work in Mandalorian, it was terrible. After two episodes of this, and rewatching Andor, I'm even more irritated on how bad the last season of Mandalorian was.

Oh shit, Winstead is in this? Fuck it, I'm going in.

Burt can't even make fun of me. I'm doing it for Ramona Flowers.

Think that might just be you :)

They nailed chop in this. He’s brilliant :)
Even Ahsoka giving him a wry smile at the end.

There’s a galactic fuck ton of nuggets like that. In just two episodes.

Are they gone do anything with it all?

Ruddo is spot on here. The eventual reveal/threat of Thrawn would really lose its weight if it was surrounded by too much slapstick and silliness.

Real life derailed me this morning so I haven't had the time/desire to post about the show. But I did watch both episode last night. And I loved what I saw, overall. Some flaws, to be sure. But I a great start.

I'll post more thoughts down the line once I can get my head into it.

I watched the first episode. I really like the new villians so far.

I didn't really feel anything when
Spoiler: show
Sabine was stabbed.
Am I alone in not feeling any emotional weight? Am I too removed from Rebels?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

B, I think it’s just because it happened in the first episode so it was pretty obvious that she was going to survive

The witches

Go back and watch the very first scene with Ahsoka when she carved the hole in the ground and drips down

The witches are carved on the walls

I feel like Ahsoka feels old and slow and boring. And she IS old, so I don't know how to fix that. She was a fun character because she was young and crazy and energetic.
