What movies are you watching?

The Illusionist (2010). Charming so far, but I don't like the look of it. Feels like a cheap cell phone camera filter. Also not sure about the accents. I haven't even seen Jessica Biel's performance yet...

Seems like a completely different kind of movie so far, aside from the obvious similarity

It's also hard not to compare those two movies to Now You See Me (2013), which I haven't seen.

I've heard that movie is a complete joke from multiple trustworthy sources. I refuse to watch it. There's also some outrage that the sequel wasn't called "Now You Don't", that I'm on board with.

Man, I'm not picking up on any chemistry at all between Biel and Norton. Sex scenes are so awkward with no chemistry.

Saw it in the cinema, this will be the second time.

The Illusionist is a bad movie. Predictable, cheap, and boring.

I mean, no character had any depth whatsoever so the good actors had nothing to do but go from point a to point b. The two characters love each other just because. The visual aesthetics were shit. The movie portrays the magic tricks as actual magic, which is weird because he's not supposed to be an actual conjuror, but an illusionist. They don't even attempt to justify his "tricks", which are impossible even with today's technology.

The tricks are presented in a way that gives you the same impression as the audience would have had. None of the tricks are impossible.

The movie was also nominated for an academy award for its cinematography.

Love isn’t just abc, it works in an endless number of ways.

Foed. This movie has ruined my mood. I don’t remember the last time I hated a viewing experience this much. Terrible terrible movie

Really good trilogy this. Probably a little underrated.

I watched Killing Gunther and Iron Mask on the 10th of August, Fifty Shades Darker on the 8th of August. I liked neither of them.
