After booms initial solo crazy Mary jam slayed. Mike rules.

He seemed to be unhappy with his even flow solo because he also kicked the mic stand out of the way. Ed had to butter him up after.

Excellent night.

Really fun show with some awkward moments as described by daft above.

Still always a blessing to be in the room with that group. Ed was in excellent spirits and quite animated.

Jeff rules.

You used her death to get your favorite band to interact with you. Gross.
I get the feeling this happens a lot, people campaigning for a song on the Pit due to personal tragedy. I wonder how word gets to the band. Management?

i think they put all the personal tragedies on a lottery ball and whichever one shoots up and out first gets the dedication for that show.

Should be prioritized by 10c number.

Crazy Mary is one of the few songs that Boom improved. Those pre-Boom versions suck in comparison. It's OK to admit this.

I tried the dedication once. Ten years ago. When my mom died. With Counting Crows. No dice.

Shouldn’t severity of disease/death factor in?

It was a solid set. Felt like the PJ show-vibe has now shifted into a storytellers vibe (maybe it was like it last year, I haven't paid much attention). Ed's vocal crutches are still there, and he seems to try to fit in as many rockstar movement/dance clichés as possible (or maybe a long for the days he would sneak off backstage during a solo and smoke a cigarette).

Insignificance was tight, no Vitalogy songs! Enjoyment was tempered by my bad "Verified Fan" purchase - never doing that again.

I've not found a single clip of them playing Insignificance. If anyone does, please post it.

Absolute peak of this was the guy who asked the band to play Alive for his wife who had a heart attack and had to miss the show, but he still went.

Good lord. What if...

I mean St Paul did get stuck between full album No Code and full album Yield last time.
