Some famous actors involved with this one, but feels like a minor indie movie. Still early in the movie here.

directed by the great Andrew Haigh (though I haven't seen this one myself). I have really liked his stuff, especially Weekend and the HBO series Looking. He's got a movie coming out with Paul Mescal soon which I'm really looking forward to

This movie really surprised me. The story had real development, and never fell into cliche (which it very easily could). We follow Charley through a very realistic and interesting journey.

Not sure naming the movie after the horse was the best choice.

It was ok...they had a good idea and kinda ruined it. The score was awful.

it's all in the execution, but taken as a whole, I'm all for post-modern takes on the capitalist totems of our collective childhood. Brigsby Bear did it first though.

Watched Brigsby Bear last night.

It was amazing for the first fifteen or so minutes until he got to the real world and everyone treated him like it was normal as hell that he was abducted and introduced into society so quickly. King of samey by the end.

Movie was ok, nothing special. As a comedy it wasn’t funny, and as a drama it felt skin deep. Best thing, was that it had something cozy about it. Like it can easily put you in a positive mood, even of it’s about someone who was abducted most of their life.
