There was definitely one shot where I thought, 'okay, yeah, from the side, at this angle, where the wing is parallel to the ground and you can't tell the cockpit is in the middle of the ship and not out to the side, it does kinda look like the Falcon, I guess.'
if they are both Corellian made, then it stands to chance the different ship models might have some of the same looking features.
It’s more just correlian ships have a certain design aesthetic. Most imperial star destroyers are Corillean. Look for the thin rib full of engineering greeblies and ‘stuff’ out at the sides.
Turns out I might be wrong about Ahsokas ship. It has its own Wookieepedia page with model type and even manufacturer but doesn’t mention Correllia

He's saying that No one thought Marrok was a going to be a "waste of time." There was a ton of speculation about who it was going to be. Some thought Ezra, or Bariss Offee, among other theories. (FWIW Im glad he was, at most, some night sister magic). So just like Snoke, a lot of energy was spent in the fan base speculating on his origin.
