I thought it was a great show - setlist had a few surprises that I really enjoyed. Best time I've had at a show since probably the 2014 tour. And ending with Surrender allowed us to beat a hasty retreat, and catch the first bus back to the blue line.

Fourth time I'd heard it live. And cut me some slack - I was on my way back to Rockford, where saying it's been overplayed is the world's greatest understatement.

I guess I could have cut that sentence short at "And cut me some slack - I was on my way back to Rockford" and garnered enough sympathy there alone.

Although it was nice of Ed to acknowledge that CT is a Chicago band!

Animal was used in season 2. They’ve only got a certain amount of time to complete a task so they set a timer. When they say “go” to start the timer, Animal explodes in. It plays while they complete their task. The whole scene is full of pressure and anxiety and Animal was the perfect choice.
