8 songs from ten in 2023 with sets of 22-25 songs in arenas supposedly more full of 10c members than ever is pretty absurd.
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.

Cool to see so many rarities coming out in these shows. Tremor Christ is my white whale after 30 shows.

Re: 2023-09-07: Chicago, IL
I was there tonight, and I agree. In fact, I had nearly the exact same thought in the moment! But… the way they were scattered throughout the set at least made it feel like a surprise each time. Deep and Garden both somehow felt well-placed and out of left field at the same time. So it was nice to get those; at least.AndySlash wrote:8 songs from ten in 2023 with sets of 22-25 songs in arenas supposedly more full of 10c members than ever is pretty absurd.

That was a great show. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Marker sounded great. Tremor Christ did too.

Any show with Tremor is a good one

Should have had an addendum: “or if they take time to announce a Chicago Blackhawks number retirement ceremony.”spike wrote:This show may actually break the now impenetrable 25 song barrier, unless another one of Ed’s extended family passed away or he’s driven by his other grandmother’s house since Tuesday.

Also, Smile being played for the back is awesome. I kinda love the idea of the back getting the rarities/fan-favs instead of tired clap-a-longs.
