Nah, Simmons has only played on two teams in his career.

I just watched the Japan vs Finland game and it was one of the best ever games of basketball I've ever seen. I'm literally in tears.

Hop on Kelly Olynk's shoulders - he is a powerhouse in and of himself.

I would totally ride into battle atop Kelly Olynk's shoulders.

I enjoy the FIBA World Cup. It's scratching that basketball itch.

I’ll root for Australia like last time, since the US is a given.

No Chill, or is it something else? I'm in the market for a good NBA pod as we head into the next season.
Its called Gil's Arena. Its very much a barbershop convo show. Don't expect hard hitting journalism lol. Its often a trainwreck.

Honestly this might be perfect...

I need a casual, broad overview pod to get up to speed: Current rosters, key conference matchups/strategies, team expectations going into the season, notable player narratives. Not looking for a ton of stats.

Simmons is fine for this, but he meanders a lot, and I don't want to wade through a bunch of NFL stuff before getting to the NBA.

Any other suggestions?

This is a good example of the show. I find him wildly entertaining but folks milage may vary.

My family is all Lithuanian. Enjoyed their game Vs US last night.

Great to see them finally beat you lot but my money is still firmly on US for the gold.

Lithos hit their first 9 straight threes! They thought they were Miami playing Boston for a minute there.

Italy making the final 8 was kind of a joke. Easy win for the US. Next one won't be as easy.
