Baylan is the best part of this show and that isn't a knock on anything else. He's so fucking good. Really really sucks that he passed away. Obviously we have no idea where his character ends up but this guy/villain is made for thebig screen. G Dangit.

I know he doesn't know Ezra, but he's gonna be pissed if Thrawn comes back and re-establishes the Empire.
Maybe Ahsoka doesn't know where Luke is yet.
Is it your theory that this is all happening before mandalorian in boba Fett?
It's not a theory so much as a "we don't know exactly."

Ahsoka changes a lot between her Mando S2 appearance and her BoBF appearance. Fans have been speculating about that ever since the Fett ep aired. We know that this show takes place after Mando S2 because of Morgan's capture. Other than that... ? It's certainly possible that the events of this season of Ahsoka are taking place between the two appearances, yes. Favs has said that each season (the 3 Mando's and BoBF) are all about a year apart -- Luke was training Grogu for about a year, he says. So, it's not out of line to think this is pre-Fett.
This gave me a headache

E.H. Ruddock wrote:All this speculation of a multiverse is a little far fetched if you ask me. Filoni wants to tie this story in with Mando, Boba, Rogue Squadron, and close it all out with a movie to end the Thrawn storyline. He's smart enough to know that going the multiverse route would convolute it too much. We'll see where this Anakin thing goes, but I'm pretty confident in my theory that this is just all in her head. The world between worlds is just the place in her mind she knows she could see Anakin again.

There ye go. This ^^

Thrawn was one of the first people to deduce (as he does) that anakin Skywalker was lord Vader.
He taunts him about it a good bit in the books. (I read the first and gave up too no blame to you).

I’m wondering if this is gonna play in especially with Ashoka being his apprentice

Thrawn is such a big character i can't imagine him coming back and this all wrapped up in 4 more episodes or whatever. We're already halfway through? This thing has to go into second season.

Will thrawn be part of the development of the First Order?

Whether or not there is a season two (SPOILER ALERT: there will be) all of this is leading up to Filoni's movie. Thrawn won't be "defeated" or "resolved" in this season.

I'm guessing this season will be more about saving Ezra than defeating Thrawn.

But also, remember that Morgan tells us some advanced civilization from far away built that temple they open the map at. I think that's a hint. I won't be surprised if we get some variation of the Yuuzan Vong (from Legends) eventually. Or at least the Chiss.

I'm talking about the idiot contingent of the fan base that firmly believes Filoni is going to retcon the sequel trilogy and revert it to Legends (non-canon) status by opening up alternate timelines a la the Marvel cinematic universe.

His presence almost reminds me of Christopher Lee

I don't think so. She used both against the droids attacking Huyang, but only drew one against Marrock and Baylen

There's probably a real answer to this question, Skitch. But I'm not sure you're gonna find it here. Ahsoka is a great fighter and she's iconic for having two blades. If she's not using both, there's a reason.

Then we should be speculating on that, not X3 quality deaged Anakin. We can collectively be one step ahead of the Internet!

Team Skitch!

I bet it has to do with whatever fighting style she's choosing to use in each fight.

Actually just googled it and a bunch of people are doing acrobatic explanations involving Stances and referencing Jedi survivor.

And nestled in the responses is what I'm guessing is the real reason ... cause the plot needs her to have one in the World between Worlds.

That could be... ? We'll see. That seems weird on it's face to me, though.

But it could rationally and realistically be both -- a plot need and a fighting form thing.
