I don’t really get the confusion VG?
He was there. The kid heard the fight. Ahsoka wasn’t to be found until she was. They went over that water multiple times.

Good argument to be made that the kid sensed anakin in the last episode. He says he has a bad feeling. (I’m reaching there with that but we learn he’s obviously force sensitive before the droid explains it to Carson in this one)

Well the WBW is a place within the cosmic force (so I’m lead to believe) it’s a nexus.
Think back to yoda telling Luke many things you will see, friends long gone etc
Some you haven’t even met yet. As with Ezra hearing Rey and Jynn when he was in there despite never having met them.
You’re kinda basically in the force so presumably someone like anakin could pull you in(to save you in this case).
It really isn’t any stranger than a force ghost appearing to you. It’s just a new concept to us.

Do you think they will use WBW to bring back Anakin in some capacity? He is pulling Ahsoka because he went back to the light in jedi and he is allowed to?

For me? He was showing her what is and what could be but using Vader to snap her out if it.
She has a lot of guilt about him. A fuck ton of trauma. In that rebels episode she says ‘I won’t leave you’ and later Vader says ‘Anakin Skywalker is dead. I destroyed him’ and she goes ‘well then I will avenge him’. And the scene with the dying trooper she has guilt and trauma all over the place cos she was a leader (at far too young an age) and people died under her command.


You will see Anakin again in this. But only us and her will see him. He’ll be a force ghost off to the side in the last episode. Giving her an approving nod. Seriously doubt they’ll bring him in in any other context.

Same way with Rey inROTS. If you bring force ghosts in, ‘physically’ why aren’t they helping out in whatever the fight is? They’re in the force. They have all the power.
So you can’t do that narratively cos it just makes the whole thing ridiculous.
Doesn’t mean they aren’t watching on. But if they get involved and you show it? it’s game over for the audience and just stupid storytelling.

It’s just a narrative construct really but we don’t know there isn’t some kind of block on them interfering in events in the real sense in that world.

Tbh I would have loved to see anakin and yoda and obi wan and Ahsoka and Luke etc turn up in ROTS to help Rey out at the end.it would have made sense. And no sense at all too. Rather than just hear their voices. But where do you stop?

They’ve at least been consistent with the force ghosts of it all throughout.
WBW is just an adaptation of that it seems. You can’t change the past.
But you can change and determine your future.
That I think was Anakins lesson to her here. Or at least one of them.
Let go of the grief and guilt. Move on.


She’s noticeably a happier and even mischievous Ahsoka after it. Her stoicism in the early episodes make sense now to me. Now she’s back. She’s found herself again.

How does she know he’s doing anything much less coming to start a war?
So why is she going all that way to start one?

Well she was going for him long before that. Remember all the way back in that Mando eoisode she was in. I know it’s around this same time.
Finding Ezra isn’t important to her. She kinda says as much a few times. If they’re gone maybe leave them there /tough shit Ezra

But also wants to go fight Thrawn before he starts a war.


It’s a bit all over the place. Unless I’m missing something which I might well be.

If its build up to explain the rise of the first order which is all I can think of, it’s not really being specific Enough.

Well we know the first order comes. Better or not she takes out Thrawn remains to be seen but she probably does given he’s not around in the sequels. But neither is she. And she’s dead by rots (dave has been asked about this and wouldn’t be nailed down on it)

But have her in the new movie with Rey setting up her new academy. and grogu

I think grogu is a lock in that tbh. Ahsoka though? Probably not.
