Iconic sounds in TV and film

Post by Peeps »

tie fighter banking
lightsaber powering up/striking
doors on the enterprise
teleportation from the enterprise

what are some other very identifiable sound effects you associate with a show/movie?
Did the Mother Fucker pay extra to yell?

When I was in grad school, one of the offices in the student union used a printer that was a match for the sound of the smoke monster from Lost. If you were sitting in just the right place waiting for an appointment, it’d sound like it was right behind you.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
