5 Guys makes a pretty decent burger, but I'm still partial to In-N-Out...

I've only recently become acquainted and enamoured with the deliciousness of Five Guys burgers.

I always think to myself ... "I don't want to eat at Five Guys ... they're just a cliche chain." Then I eat there and I'm like,Bob Loblaw wrote:I've only recently become acquainted and enamoured with the deliciousness of Five Guys burgers.

I saw the original video from which they made this one when I got home after trying 5G for the first time and laughed my ass off, so I'm sure that made watching this one even funnier for me.

The burger economy in Houston is thriving. However, I sort of freeze up whenever there's too much going on with a burger menu. On the one hand, I love that you can get roasted poblano pepper and chipotle aioli on a burger, but on the other hand, there's a lot of potential to fuck up on the burger joint's end. No matter how exciting the menu, I generally end up ordering some variation of a bleu cheese/bacon/mushroom type burger.

With the new year my local beer/burger place changed up their menu and I must say they still make a kick-ass burger. It may be a bit over the top but the half-bacon burger was astounding this past Monday.

I read this advice in a grilling book a couple years ago and my burgers haven't been the same since. That Worcestershire sauce makes all the difference.nah wrote:guys, put worcester into your burgers and don't touch them but once when you flip them. also pack them losely.
My favorite combination of burger toppings would be bacon, ham, fried egg, and cheese, a concoction introduced to me by my favorite local burger joint, the Burger Barge.

Well, searing beef is really the only way to do it. Traps in all the dead cow goodness.

Worcestershire has been going on my burgers for as long as I can remember. I can't imagine grilling one without it.

was talking with a friend the other week about good burgers around town. we got into talking about how we get our burgers cooked...him, well done or burned. me, medium rare.
he looked at me like i was the crazy one.
too bad he's missing out on all the flavor.

Yeah, I like it still mooing but I rarely eat red meat these days. When I do I prefer to savor the taste rather than taste charred burntness.
