That was about as much pure fun a Dolphins game I've ever seen. Unreal.

I expected a loss and I expected for Buffalo's offense to look good. But even with that expectation going in that was an awful defensive showing. At this point the defense has been every bit as bad/disappointing as the offense has been great/exciting.

It's still early so hopefully we'll see some improvement starting this week. Either way Miami should be 5-1 going into that Eagles game.

Yeah man, that was as much about how good Buffalo is right now as how bad our defense is; they're just on another level and our defense is still figuring things out (and missing some key pieces). Should be back to business as usual against the next couple teams and hopefully the defense improves in the mean time.

Buffalo is great, no doubt. Best team in the AFC right now. But I think the defense was putrid. Missing tackles, taking awful angles, getting absolutely no rush. And it's been like that all year. Chargers ran all over us, the Broncos drove up and down the field but at least there were a couple timely turnovers. They played their best game against the Patriots, who have had an objectively awful offense this year, but even in that game it wasn't close to dominant. It was just okay.

I'm not trying to be a downer. I'm still optimistic about this season and excited and all that. And it can still improve. But I was thrilled when they brought Fangio in and yet the defense has been demonstrably worse this year. It's troubling. But hey, these next two weeks they have a good chance to build some momentum heading into the Philly game.

I'm not trying to be a downer. Let's talk about the offense lol. Achane looks like he might have been a steal in the third round.

Agreed. But think about it, as much as Fangio may claim there is no learning curve, the majority of the personnel were playing in a completely different scheme the last year or more and there absolutely appears to be some confusion. I have faith in Fangio's ability to turn things around, especially with the inclusion of some key pieces in Ramsey and Phillips. Fingers crossed they and everyone else can stay relatively healthy. I'd really hate for the defense to spoil this year of historically good offense (and my Dolphin brain tells me this will probably happen), but I choose to be optimistic because it's more fun.

He looks great! But I see why he went as late as he did. You need to scheme him properly because of his slight frame. McDaniel is the right coach for him. I do think we need to utilize a bigger body in a Brooks for some short yardage situations. I don't know if Armstead is even worth it at his point. Why can't he ever stay healthy?

The team that lost to the Jets? The same Jets that just lost to the 3-1 Chiefs?

The team with a point differential more than double the Chiefs? One and the same.
