One from The Golden Casket? I really wanted to like that album, but it didn't stick.

I used to really love that album when I was a kid. I was like 13 years old listening to the title track over and over again. One of the first full albums I downloaded on mp3 (because I couldn't figure out how to rip the CD)

I just listened to it for the first time. The drumming is outstanding. Not sure if I dig anything else about it though.

Yeah I don't know how well it would hold up for me today. It's been a while

Re: Post Random Music-Related Thoughts You Have
Is there a better use of hand claps in a song than “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough”?
It checks all the boxes. Compositionally speaking, it’s note-perfect. An effectively simple beat accented with tasteful flourishes. The recorded sound of the claps is pristine. Crisp and clean, yet substantial. And then there’s the performance itself, which is whip-sharp, yet loose. It swaggers.
All cylinders are firing. The producer, the engineer, the person doing the clapping - Great work.
Other claps I love:
“If we ever get out of here” *CLAP* - Band of the Run
Stars and Sons - Broken Social Scene

Good call. I heard Don't Stop today for the first time in a long time...It's in the running for my favorite MJ track.

Starting somewhere in the early 2010’s there’s a guitar resurgence that has lasted years. It deserves to be mentioned alongside the great 70’s and 90’s eras.

Alright, my turn: Madonna's "Frozen" is a banger. I had no idea. Some cool textures in there, like they were calling back to early 90's trip hop at times. Also, All Saints totally lifted the delay idea for "Pure Shores" (that The Beach song).

"Frozen" is great. I love the strings. Ray of Light is the best Madonna album
I also love "Pure Shores" a lot. Good catch about the delayed synth that shows up on both tracks. They're very similar. Probably a William Orbit thing, he produced both tracks.
