The insta code doesn’t seem to be working.

It works, it's just very strict. You have to do it exactly the way the code shows when you hover your pointer over it.

Which means:

- http, as opposed to https
- no www in the URL
- must end with a trailing slash

This means you can’t just paste the share link Instagram gives you, because that usually looks like:
https://www.instagram.com/p/DN1nMG6UCzR ... _copy_link

But if you do it the right way, it works:

Same principle applies. Every YouTube video has a unique ID, shorts aren't any different. Just grab the ID from the video URL and use the YT code

Huh, that’s an entirely different code suffix. Did you post that from a laptop? Maybe it’s an iPhone app thing.

I figured this out. If using the Insta app, click the share option but select open in Chrome. Then copy that link and edit appropriately.

There’s of course ways to streamline this process on a board such as this, but I shant hold my breath.
