I'm pretty sure that asshole senator has something to do with the remnants of the empire and/or Thrawn coming back. They are giving him too much time and being a little too asshole-y about it all.
I thought that too, but when you google him, he's the father of a pilot in Resistance.
None of you watched resistance. I hit for our five episodes in and dropped out too.
The senator asdhole is the father of the lead character in resistance. Who is a good guy.
Very camp. Great pilot though.
Respect
I didn’t even get to the 4th episode before I dropped out.

It's kinda weird that they've managed to sneak in an intensely female focused show without the fan base flipping out. Until the arrival of Thrawn and Ezra, 5 of the 6 main characters were all women.
My current theory is that Baylan is looking for an entrance on that planet to the world between worlds. Perhaps Ezra won’t die but be left behind (or maybe Sabine) and be stuck with Baylan. There’s rumors already of a season two before the big filoni movie so that can be both about battling Thrawn and getting whoever is left behind back to the home galaxy
How are they getting home?
Space whales seems unlikely. Even though Ezra has a link with them
Stick Ahsokas ship onto the back on Thrawns ship like Han does in empire? That might affect the course and navigation telemetry
Could they Just sneak onto Thrawns ship?
If they leave it a cliffhanger just them stuck on that planet, ugh
Least that way we know there’s a season two I guess.
You might be onto something though Ruddo
I can’t see Shin being of any further use to Thrawn so why she went back to him? Unless to set up Maybe she takes up Ahsokas offer to help her?
Maybe GS is right. Baylan finds the bendu. And he isn’t happy to be found.
Bendu is the one fucked Thrawn up and Thrawn wants away from that planet.
