The worst part was Baylan Skoll not really doing anything. Even a five minute scene of him getting somewhere would have been good.

All in all a top tier Star Wars tv season, up there with the best of Mando and Andor. Very happy we got this from these characters. The people behind Star Wars have finally made some great decisions.

Nailed it thanks Anders
Hope you’ll love it with time.

I love a lot of it. Just not the ending.

Hope you’ll love it with time.

The Thrawn/Nightsisters scene
Zombie Stormtrooper
The dialogue
The lack of two main characters (Baylan and Shin)
The Anakin appearance

The ok, I guess:

the mention of Kanaan
Ezra building a lightsaber
The backstory on Sabine and Ahsoka

The really good:

The Ezra and Hera reunion
Mostly disagree with this.

The Thrawn/Nightsisters scene was a superb start to the episode
The Anakin appearance was the perfect ending
Kanan being mentioned made me smile, simillar with that whole scene with building the lightsaber, and the inclusion of the Sabine/Ahsoka backstory. Five star scene.
Ezra and Hera reunion was fine, but not a great highlight to me.
Thought the dialogue was fine, if a little uneven.
Also the action was excellent, lots of lightsaber action.

Agree that the Zombie Troopers could have been better, and the lack of Baylan/Shin was a letdown.

I'm willing to assume they'dve done more with Skoll if they could. Maybe this was even planned at 10 episodes, and well, things fall apart.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

it was clear that this series needed 10 episodes yes, but i liked the finale enough.

Liked the zombie troopers, the mystery of the cargo, pretty much everything with Ashoka...and finally ghost force Anakin!!

I think ill be interesting to know how all of this ties into the creation of the first order and the tragedy of Ashoka, Sabine Ezra and Hera
BONE FUCKIN´ TOMAHAWK.

Baylan cast her off. She's known Thrawn for a day. Might as well hang with her buds.

Honestly, that shit finale kinda ruined most of the series for me.

Looking back on it, the good stuff was... seeing shit in live action that I've already seen in animation?

Anakin and Ahsoka in the clone wars, the ghost, Rex and Chopper and Hera? Thrawn sounding cool?

The Thrawn/Nightsisters scene, while cool, was too long. Took up a lot of time in a short episode
Zombie Stormtrooper. Ugh. Even went with cheesy zombie noises. Just. terrible. The one thing that could have been worse than introducing time travel was introducing zombies into live action Star Wars.
The dialogue. Even with Ahsoka/Sabine aside, stuff like Thrawn's lines seemed so overrehearsed and practiced.
The lack of two main characters (Baylan and Shin) in anything but the ending montage. JFC this was a huge flub. Ridiculous.
The Anakin appearance. That felt really forced. Why have it at all? He made an amazing appearance earlier in the series, leave it at that.

The ok, I guess:

I liked the mention of Kanaan. Also Ezra building a lightsaber.
The backstory on Sabine and Ahsoka. Although it was short, it summed things up pretty well and even tied it in to events that people watching The Mandalorian could understand/relate to.
The little turtle creatures on that planet. I know they were more than just this episode, but they were a nice addition.

The really good:

The Ezra and Hera reunion had way more emotion than the Ezra and Sabine reunion. Even my wife, who doesn't watch with me, saw it and let out an audible "aww".

This was really bad, guys. Very disappointed. I hope for a second season just to clean that stuff up. You can't roll right into Mando or a Thrawn movie from that. Yikes.

There were two or three moments I was shouting JUST HUG!! PLEASE!
Ahsoka and Sabine
Ezra and Sabine

And then Hera and Ezra. That one particularly. She’s effectively his mom ffs!! She hasn’t seen him in years!
Why isn’t she all emotional and running to give him a hug??

They knocked it outta the park with this series but they fucked up the landing badly and on many many fronts

Hera was stunned due to if Ezra is back that means Thrawn is back.

I dont think deep down she believed both could happen.

Im not sure how Ray Stevenson death affected the ending as he had completed filming all his scenes before passing. Baylan and Shins ending defo needed more.

BUt the big ending for me was that Ahsoka and Anakin have re-connected via the force. It gives Ahsoka so much comfort and Something she lost after order 66.

The fifth and the sixth episode were special.

I enjoyed the series.

I still think the finale would of been better with an end credit scene that simply stated "Ahsoka will return in season 2'.

I like the theory that the planet is where abeloth was imprisoned by father daughter and son. And that’s what the witches were afraid of because she was pure evil. Look her up

Maybe her home galaxy sucks. People don't become apprenticed to mercenaries because they had a supportive family.

That blade that Morgan received was in the clone wars used by the night sister Mother Talzin against Mace Windu. I wonder if in any future show or movie someone will pick it up off of Morgan’s body.

Seems I’m the only one left in this thread. My casting /performance grades after the season:

A+: Baylan, Ezra, Chopper , Huyang
A-: Shin, Hera(no problem with actor just the make up), Jacen
B: Thrawn, Ahsoka
C: Sabine, Morgan
