Re: Random Pearl Jam References
Was driving home today listening to my usual radio station and I hear a vaguely familiar tune start up. Took me a second to pick it, but apparently "Mankind" is the PJ song to play on the radio these days. How very strange.
Free boops today.

Re: Random Pearl Jam References
I heard a guy calling his dog Mookie yesterday, so I asked him if it was a Pearl Jam reference. He said yes, and I responded “My man
”
Then he says “yeah it’s after Mookie Blaylock.”
Like I didn’t know that part.
Come on, guy.

Re: Random Pearl Jam References
after stip posted a link to the podcast he recently featured as a guest, i checked it out, and noticed this episode with Brett Eliason, posted sep 5.
a few points where my ears perked up...
on the vault: the band asked him to pick about 20 shows to mix, of which about 6 have already been released. no idea if the others will see the light of day.
he confirmed that pre-2000 there are not many complete shows, including those from the No Code tour. he says they went through those shows, and - paraphrasing - there wasn't much to go with.
when asked what he would like to see released: vote for choice '95 night 1, yield tour - can't pick - many good shows from that one. he's really fond of '98 PJ.
