For those who don't know the context, the "Humanitarian corridor" the US is proposing for Gazans is not what it seems.

The Gazan civilians who leave have no passports or right to return -- the border crossings are controlled by Israel. So leaving means leaving Palestine forever.

This is ethnic cleansing and the US and others are complicit in it.

this is the reason Hamas has used to so far reject humanitarian corridors (they prefer to martyr children than give up control inside the open air prison) while most of the world is working to establish one… with one notable exception: Egypt. Which is interesting as Egypt borders Gaza to the south and would be the safest and easiest path as Israel invades from the north. Why wont Egypt let them in as other countries did with refugees from Syria and Iraq?

Saudi Arabia said yesterday they are still moving forward with their plan to normalize relations with Israel. I’m sure Iran and Hamas are happy about that

Any explanation for how the best intelligence agency on the planet working in the most intensely monitored area of the planet managed to miss this?

They didn’t.

Allegedly, the Ashkenazi liberal elite in Israel still have some sense of noblesse oblige and are over represented in their elite recon units and other specialties. The reserve units of elite infantry and pilots had refused to do routine reserve duty over the judicial reforms, but are responding to the current call up.

The losses that Israel takes in a ground war will reduce the voter rolls of the opposition faster than it will Netanyahus former coalition (now in a temporary unity government).

What's the sales pitch for American Jews to take Aliyah? Fight Bibi's war so that the Hasidim get cheap housing they didn't bleed for?

«At least 1,300 people — including 265 soldiers — were killed in Israel in the terrorist attack and more than 3,300 were injured. In Gaza, over 2,200 people have been killed and 8,000 have been injured»

«A humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Gaza as hundreds of thousands of Palestinians flee from the territory’s north to the south, heeding Israeli warnings to evacuate before an anticipated ground invasion. Their options for seeking safety are extremely limited.»

Waging war on in a different flank. That being people in Israel who want him out of of office.
This is so predictable

‘Israeli minister is “promoting regulations that would allow him to direct police to arrest civilians, remove them from their homes, or seize their property if he believes they have spread info that could harm national morale or served as the basis for enemy propaganda.” No mentions about war crimes.’

some good news here:

Iran has apparently declared it will not get further involved if Israel avoids striking their assets and nationals in their first ever message to Israel at the UN

Israel has turned back on some utilities in southern Gaza (Israel supplies around 30% of Gaza's water)

Egypt has opened the southern border crossing to allow humanitarian aid in and foreign nationals out of Gaza
