there wasnt enough space for long line by line takes - the focus is on themes, ideas, messages - what the songs are trying to convey/accomplish and how theynarenin conversation with the larger catalog but it certainly leans more heavily into lyrics than the music. We talk about how life performances have transformed some songs, and take a stab at documenting some of the more essential live performances of each

so not exclusively- but youve seen how i approach talking about pearl jam. that didnt transform. page limits just forced me to get to the point much quicker
