a few points where my ears perked up...

on the vault: the band asked him to pick about 20 shows to mix, of which about 6 have already been released. no idea if the others will see the light of day.

he confirmed that pre-2000 there are not many complete shows, including those from the No Code tour. he says they went through those shows, and - paraphrasing - there wasn't much to go with.

when asked what he would like to see released: vote for choice '95 night 1, yield tour - can't pick - many good shows from that one. he's really fond of '98 PJ.

if you're referring to MSG Night 2 '98 they didn't record it, though they did get night 1. They were "caught" recording night 1 and told they needed to pay a hefty fee to the union in order to make night 2 a reality. They were also asked to pay a large fee in Montreal.

they have a bunch of great interviews with folks in PJ's orbit. Josh Evans, Danny Clinch, Rob Bleetstien, Jimmy Shoaf, the guy who directed Hunger Strike, one of the engineers on Yield, Brad Klausen

A Martinez from Morning Edition on NPR is apparently a fan.

Is there anyone you still want to speak to or a story you still want to cover?

So when I first came on my very first show, Noel King asked me that question on the fly; I didn't know she was gonna ask me that. So I just said there's one person I do want to talk to: Eddie Vedder, the singer from Pearl Jam. I don't know, there's just something about the way he handled himself in his career that I kind of want to try and crack that nut open, because he's always been so quiet and secretive that I've always wanted to talk to him.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Lol, Liz Crokin just used Eddie Vedder as inspiration for her post on X:

EDDIE VEDDER’S SOMEDAY WE’LL GO ALL THE WAY!

Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder sang this song to honor the Chicago Cubs before they finally won the World Series in 2016.

It took over 100 years for the Cubs to win a World Series another time; yet, the fans remained so loyal and connected.

Why is that? Listen to the lyrics of his song.

Hang in there anons and digital soldiers — one day we will go all the way too. Try to have a little faith & patience like the Cubbie fans have had.

The best is yet to come.
Every sentence in my head, someone else has said.
