Confirming what’s being said. New copy sounds great. Low end is noticeably more crisp. This fucking album rules. Always has. Always will.

Yup. More confirmation here!

Yield was the 1 pj vinyl that i always needed to adjust the settings on my receiver to get a decent full sound.

This was a pop on and play. No screwing with needed. Sounds great!

I went to see if my original copy of Yield had Hummus on it (it does not), and fuck yeah, this reissue sounds miles better. Push Me, Pull Me is worth the purchase price alone.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Does it really sound better though? Or do people convince themselves it does to justify the ridiculous price and shipping they paid to hear it again?

as I posted on pj forum, I have a pretty good set up, and I played the original , 2016 reissue then VMP, and VPM was the best sounding. Better dynamic range. better separation in instruments. Very clean and clear pressing, the original sounds muted I guess in comparison to the new reissue.

I have a modest setup (Rega Planar 2 turntable, Rega Elex-R phono preamp and Dali Spektor 2 speakers) and I think this new pressing sounds brilliant.

Initial thoughts are Jeff's bass is clearer (absolutely badass) and there are nice little guitar flourishes I'd never noticed before which I can hear quite nicely.

Overall I'm very happy.

My Yield sticker came in one of the gatefold pockets. Make sure you really look for it. Probably jammed in at the bottom.

It fell out. I retract my complaint.

So is this all new better sounding yield available online in iTunes or Spotify or wherever?

Or is it just magically on vinyl ?

It would be nice to compare the 45 rpm vinyl to digital.

I just listened to the album from start to finish for the first time in a long time. It’s still my favorite.

I forgot how beautiful In Hiding is. It hit harder than usual this time for some reason.

Had this same experience a few weeks ago. Always loved it, but found it extra-extra special on that particular day.

I always thought so as well. They seemed so happy during SVT. Like a band that had been through both great times and tough times, but finally found the right way to balance it out together.
