Is there any appetite in America to send tens of thousands of kids to their death in another conflict in the Middle East?
Doubt it.

Reintroduce the draft maybe?
Good luck with that.

This article (and the many links in it) is very eye-opening on what the ordinary people of Palestine suffer under rule by Hamas. Essentially they are living under two brutal regimes with nowhere to turn, and no way out:

The election that led to Hamas taking over Gaza

Maybe, but I find myself agreeing with folks who ask "Does a free Palestine mean a Hamas-free Palestine?" I'd like to see more journalists ask the protestors and their advocates in politics that how they reconcile that.

UN aid agencies now saying their work stops tonight as they’ve no fuel or supplies and none being allowed through. Their camps have 600,000 people in them, 3 times over capacity.

Israel also refusing visas to new UN officials now as some UN chief saying Hamas didn’t form in a vacuum. Israel didn’t like that and is vowing to ‘teach the UN a lesson’.

Totally normal behaviour from totally normal country.

Has the UN called for the elimination of Hamas? Like, ever?

How to lose friends and set fire to any goodwill and support you have left.

It’s really really not. He’s a tabloid parasite and will say and do anything as long as it keeps him in the public eye. Even if it’s the totally wrong take he’ll set out to annoy everyone just for profile. He’s made an entire career of it.

Point doesn’t really stand when you have people all around the world in various industries being fired simply for speaking up for Palestine and an entire legion of Israeli online operatives are spreading misinformation up to and including making TikTok videos mocking the people who’ve been slaughtered and Palestinians in general.

If the online arena is a new battle front, Israel is winning that one too.

what is your point, dime? Are you simply saying both sides are wrong (equally?)? or Israel is the bad guy, full stop? are you working on a non fiction novel? Do you have personal skin in the game? I'm only asking because you're posting in this thread a llot

Putting these two tweets together gives you a window into the soul of a certain political persuasion:

I get the true believers, but deciding to draw the line here has to have some explanation other than ethno-narcissism.

Cmon now. Most of the western worlds media are dancing to Israel’s tune and not even questioning them carrying out a genocide. They’re cheering them on.

But someone online pantsed that guy and so his feelings are hurt?

Really?
