I forgot he was cancelled for essentially torturing disabled kids when he was younger. Maybe that's why no one gives a shit about his new album.

I just started the Gaslight Anthem album after finishing the Black Pumas and still have KGLW’s synth album to go. Busy day.

These guys have been guest DJs for the last month on my radio station of choice. Interesting to hear them talk about the music they love, great song choices.Buby wrote:Half way through the new one from The Kills, sounding very interesting.

SAVED! by Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter (formerly Lingua Ignota) is fucking amazing, it's like the soundtrack to an Appalachian folk / cult horror

Someone earlier posted about LA band Spanish Love Songs. Been listening to their new album 'No Joy' and its really grown on me. I've always been a sucker for good old emotional singing by somewhat unusual voices, and the post punk/indie vibe is appealing too.

Re: Albums of 2023
I have never previously taken the time to listen to any albums by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, but whenever I've heard them in passing or on the radio I've enjoyed what I've heard. I even saw them do 4 or so songs before U2 a few years ago and enjoyed those too. Finally gave 'Council Skies' a listen and its similarly really enjoyable.
