Wemby is gangly and prone to mistakes, but his give a shit + natural talent is going to make him really good really soon. He can block a three from basically anywhere on that side of the court.

Ridiculous ego aside, what do you think this means for the Clippers chance to actually win a conference title? At a cursory glance, their roster is pretty old, but with some solid (if declining) stats at the individual level.

Is there an argument to be made that if they take the Sabremetrics approach, this could be their year?

And what about Lue? I know absolutely nothing about that guy.

Lue is a great coach. I just don't know if he can manage all of the personalities/egos of so many stars on the wrong side of their primes. That being said, I think they will be in that second tier of West contenders with the Lakers, Suns, and Warriors.

Lue is a great coach. I just don't know if he can manage all of the personalities/egos of so many stars on the wrong side of their primes. That being said, I think they will be in that second tier of West contenders with the Lakers, Suns, and Warriors.

So who knows…If he can get everyone to share the stage, and maybe a couple injuries happen elsewhere, this could be a big season for them. Exciting stuff.
