Flew back from Florida this morning. Spirit was the only airline that matched our schedule so I had my first experience with them. Turns out it’s exactly as bad as people say.

Re: Talk about your day thread
bogey chewed threw his leash yesterday as we were driving to the dog park. was able to carry him into the park so he could enjoy the day. a nice playful beagle shows up and they ran around for a good 20-25 minutes. there were three large dogs on the other side and when we left i tried to pick bogey up to get him to the car since the owners left the fenced in area and their dogs were not on leashes. he really tried to wiggle their way out of my grip.
when we got home he was favoring his left shoulder and wouldnt let it be touched without snipping at me or my brother. i was so torn up that i hurt him and he wouldnt come up into my bed. through out the night he did come up into bed but was still a bit skitish.
turns out during his struggles getting him into the car his vest must have tightened up. my brother noted that when he took it off last night he couldnt get two fingers in between the vest and body. today my little buddy is back to himself and i am so relieved.
man this being a doggy parent is a roller coaster

Re: Talk about your day thread
my fiancée(Wendy)has been jail for the past three weeks. Two and a half years clean came up positive for meth a bunch of times. We spent all of our time together, no baggies around the house, no needle caps. Turns out she’s on zenzeti which causes false positives, her doctor confirmed it. Her PO refuses to say it’s anything but meth. I believe my fiancée when she says she’s been clean. Been a long road to get to that level of trust. Things are good between us, no odd behavior from her.
A bunch of my spellings are wrong, because I don’t give a fuck. We are poor people, with little pull. I don’t post much in RM anymore, but anyone have any advice?

Re: Talk about your day thread
She just got put on probation about a month ago, the same period she switched medications. It was off of a case two and a half years ago…the last time either of us used anything. I’ve been 3 years no opiates, two and a half no meth.
But…we’ve both been living clean together. You take pride in that shit. I definitely did. Questioning that in her, really elicits an emotional response…and rightfully so! I might still drink Jim Beam a couple a nights a week, and weed every day (not all the time, especially lately).
I’m eating a plate of cheese fries that take me back to my youth chilling with a kitten from hell and a dog named Peanut.

Re: Talk about your day thread
Perhaps giving the PO a copy of her prescription as well as something in writing from the doctor confirming false positive likelihood might help. Is she able to take her meds while in jail? If so, they should test her again and she should still be coming up positive. That would show it must be from the medsWhitey McTeeth wrote:my fiancée(Wendy)has been jail for the past three weeks. Re: Talk about your day thread
Hey Whitey, long time no see. Congratulations on the clean time. Meth is a mutha...I'll be 25 yrs clean (everything harder than weed) in April.
As for the PO, that sucks. Always the worst when they got a hard- on for someone trying to do good and all they wanna do is try to ruin them. Seen it so many times. Like everyone has said, documentation from doctors as well as anything you can find on the drug that shows the false positives. Any letters can help, and yeah if she's on it in jail, that should be looked at as a means to show innocence. Best of luck bud and keep on keeping on with what you've been doing. Props

Re: Talk about your day thread
Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. She’s losing weight and handling it the best she can, but the PO seems like she sees it as nothing but disrespect that she won’t admit to relapsing. It’s a bullshit thing for anyone to call doubt on someone’s clean time. Really hoping someone pays for this. She’s been documenting everything. The irony is, she can’t deviate from her prescriptions she’s supposed to take, but now that she’s locked up, she’s not even giving the drugs she’s supposed to take! The doctor only comes in once a month to the jail, so now she receives random medications she’s not familiar with. Lots of fucked up shit happening there to be honest.

Yeah she’s still in jail. Hoping she has her evaluation or meets with her lawyer finally. Just sitting in jail meeting with no one.
