Watched the first half of The Meg, and this movie seems very lowly rated from what I have seen so far. Well made, decent actors, fun story.

I had a migraine last night so I didn't watch anything. I'm home today and I'm watching Dawn. I think I'll finish out the original trilogy and then go back for Return of the Living Dead.

Those are all classic zombies movies. The Snyder one is great too

Nope was great. The pacing isn't perfect, but there's a lot to love here. The sound design was unreal. The horror elements were uniquely executed. Keke Palmer might be the most charismatic person on earth.

Peele is one clever mo fo.

Undergods.

Kinda unsettling but fun. Might have benefitted from a more coherent narrative, but then again maybe not.

Undergods, Hard to Be a God, and Mad God should be a triple feature, and then you can take a long shower.

Watched Won't You Be My Neighbor? about Fred Rogers. Didn't know anything about him growing up, and have only heard a little about him here and there as an adult. Seemed like a really sweet guy. Well made documentary.

Watching another documentary. Free Solo “Alex Honnold faces the biggest challenge of his career, climbing El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. He pursues it Free Solo which means climbing without a rope and alone.” This guy is crazy.

Clearly another great dude though. Has his own charity.

 this is gold
Maybe I phrased that poorly? I know there are people that abuse charities, didn't mean that anyone ever involved with a charity is a good person, just that this guy is.

One of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. And about an absolute gift of a human being. I never really realized it until watching but he was truly remarkable in his desire to just help kids. He went from a guy we used to kind of make fun of as teens to a guy that I hold in about the highest esteem possible.

I can see that. Too often you hear about someone like this that really was mean backstage, or did something criminal. But this guy just seems like he was genuinely caring and nice.

yeah i had so much fun with Nope. Keke Palmer was awesome. True story: last year i was walking from a party at a castle in cannes and both Keke Palmer and Issa Rae where walking down the casino of the palais were a discotheque is placed. They both looked like they had fun.

Nope is a masterpiece and with it Peele overtook Robert Eggers as my favourite horror director right now

I'm watching Shin Godzilla. Pretty strange movie so far. The creature design is really weird and cool.

The Banshees of Inisherin

A very well made movie with some great performances, but... who hurt Martin McDonagh?
