the kid's been dealing with a nagging cough. we have a prescription inhaler that helped last year, but it was at our lake place, so i drove up the this morning to grab it. mcd's breakfast and a couple smartless podcasts on the way, so pretty nice really. now the wife and kid are at a classmate's birthday party, so it's just me and football for a couple hours.

did like 4 hours of cleaning/vacuuming, also laundry, leaf blowing

then a walk through the woods

The relaxation I achieved via some “me time” was almost completely obliterated by a minor garage door/Tesla accident upon the girls arriving back home from the party.

I think I handled it pretty well thanks to the chillness of the preceding several hours.
