The next Nintendo movie will be a live-action Zelda. I think I would have preferred animated, but I'll definitely see it.

How do you cast Link?

They’ll just make him CGI and mute and fuck you SAG

But seriously. There’s no other way to do link properly.

I only have to unexplored regions left. Trying to tackle several sidequests and all of the shrines in the areas I have explored first. Spreading this out over the course of the past 7 months has only increased my enjoyment. I look forward to traversing Hyrule.

Took a sick day today and put a few hours into TotK. I used a checklist to complete the 15 or so missing side quests I had left and 6 wells I never stumbled across. Most of the side quests I’d already done and just not talked to the person or read the stone that triggered them. All 139 are now done. Feels good.

One fun discovery was that if you go back to proving ground shrines, you go in without being stripped of your clothes and weapons. It must be how Anakin felt when he killed the younglings.

Was reminded of a major flaw in the game - so many upgrades require 10 specific types of lizfalos tails, but lizfalos hardly ever drop tails. I must have killed 80 fire breathers today. Got 8 tails.

You say major flaw, I say clever way to get an adult man to take an entire day off work to play a kids game killing fictional lizard monsters.

One of the reasons I finished up is they never drop the tails to upgrade ypur armor

Like if you kill 100 of them you'd get like 2 tails

Maybe you have to kill them a very certain way with a very certain weapon?

It’s the kinda fiddly obscure ‘how the hell was I ever supposed to know that?’ Things this game does I bet.

Had the same thought. I looked into it. If there is, no one has found it. It’s just a criminally low drop rate. Has been fun revisiting the game after 4 months away. I could see putting in another 20-40 hours just faffing every now and again.

I’m back in.
Doing it a totally different way this time. Just exploring and ignoring all the missions and shrines and side quests.

I hate the idea in general but I’d love a headset for this.

I just found out there’s an app called Breath companion and it’s basically entire map with absolutely everything in the game like all the shrines all the koroks all the beasts like lynels etc and you can filter for just the stuff you’re looking for

Why didn’t I know about this before?
